Print Collections
The Academy Library’s print collections include books, pamphlets, auction catalogues, maps, broadsides and printed ephemera. Each item in the collection is individually catalogued on our Main Catalogue which is available online. The Academy Library’s holdings of Periodicals are listed in the Periodicals Catalogue, which provides title-level summary descriptions of the periodicals in the collection.

Entomological library of Alexander Henry Haliday, MRIA (1806–1870)
Alexander Henry Haliday (1806–1870), entomologist, bequeathed his library of entomological books to the Royal Irish Academy in 1870.
