Building national capacity for open research
A Roadmap to Embedding Open Research Practices in Ireland (ABOARD)
The RIA is a partner organisation to the “Roadmap to Embedding Open Research Practices in Ireland (ABOARD)” project led by University College Cork and Trinity College Dublin.
Reporting in 2025, it will develop a detailed and concrete change process which will deliver coherent, system-level incentivisation of open research, responsible research assessment, and the use of responsible research metrics.
Funded by the National Open Research Forum, the project will advance the implementation of the National Action Plan for Open Research 2022-2030.
