Purcell Papers
These papers (RIA MS 4 A 42) are a collection of estate papers relating to the Purcell family of Loughmoe, County Tipperary.
The collection consists of 49 documents relating to the estate and land transactions of the Purcell family. It was presented to the Royal Irish Academy, 30 June, 1950 by J. Riversdale Colthurst on behalf of Mrs. Delap, Mulrankin Rectory, Wexford, and her brother, Dr. W. Stubbs. The papers belonged to their grandfather, the late J.W. Stubbs, Senior Fellow, T.C.D., his mother having been a Miss Purcell.
