The Young Academy Ireland's Narrative CV Workshop for Early Career Researchers offers insights into narrative CVs and the growing field of Responsible Research Assessment (RRA). Attendees will learn to present their professional and research trajectories in a qualitative format and gain a deeper understanding of the broader RRA movement.

Workshop Leads: Dr. Kevin G. Daly, Dr. Yensi Flores Bueso

The aim of the workshop is to:

  • Develop an understanding of narrative CVs and available resources for creating your own
  • Gain insight into Irish and European funders' policies on narrative CVs and qualitative assessment
  • Explore the broader Responsible Research Assessment movement
  • Learn how to transform traditional CVs into narrative structures.

The workshop will consist of several invited speakers on narrative CV, and a panel discussion by members of the Young Academy Ireland, and breakout sessions to provide hands-on experience in CV transformations. The workshop will be in-person only, with an online follow up planned in early 2025.

The intended audience of the workshop is Early Career Researchers: Postdoctoral Researchers and late-stage PhD students, but early stage group leaders are also welcome. Maximum 40 participants.
