Colm Cille 1500
2021 marked the 1500th anniversary of the birth of St Colm Cille. To commemorate this historic event, the Royal Irish Academy Library held an online Lunchtime Lectures series entitled ‘Colm Cille 1500: Téacsanna agus Traidisiúin / Columba 1500: Texts and Traditions’.
In collaboration with Coiste Léann na Gaeilge, Litríocht na Gaeilge agus na gCultúr Ceilteach, the Library held six online lectures marking the birth of Colm Cille 1500 years ago.
