Climate Change and Environmental Sciences Committee
The Climate Change and Environmental Sciences Committee is a broadly based body with representatives from third-level institutions in Ireland and Northern Ireland involved in climate and environmental research, as well as representatives from State agencies and other bodies with an interest in this area.
The current Committee was formed in 2022 with a four-year term of office. The Committee meets regularly and performs a broad range of functions including, but not limited to, organising outreach events, promoting public engagement, responding to Government consultations and producing expert statements.
