The Environmental Humanities Working Group of the Irish Humanities Alliance will host an interdisciplinary workshop exploring the role of the Arts and Humanities in shaping research, teaching and public policy in relation to the climate and environmental emergencies of our times.

Key themes and concerns that will be explored on the day within the format of roundtable discussions are:

  • Teaching and Pedagogical Practice
  • Decolonisation and Sustainability Discourse
  • Methods and Disciplines
  • Irish Environmental Futures

The workshop is aimed at Arts and Humanities researchers, scholars and educators working across the island of Ireland in any cognate disciplinary field, and early career scholars are particularly welcome to attend.
